The pictures demonstrate the significant progress that is being made. The data center will be enclosed later this month and the interior work will begin, keeping us on schedule for an October opening.

As you can see significant progress is being made!  The steel infrastructure is complete and later this week the walls begin to go up.  This $15 million dollar project is on schedule to be open in October where Data Realty will begin to deliver on the vision that is already being very well received by organizations throughout the Midwest.

Our facility, designed by ESD and being built by Turner Construction, is making significant progress in South Bend's Ignition Park - former home to Studebaker Corporation. We will open in October of 2012 and will continue to update our progress throughout the year.

The City of South Bend has reached an agreement to sell land in Ignition Park to a private company that will build a nearly 50,000-square-foot data center – the first private, high-tech business in the technology park. Data Realty LLC, a startup company based at Innovation Park at Notre Dame, will break ground this spring for a Tier III data center serving small to mid-sized businesses in South Bend and throughout the Midwest.

Mayor Stephen J. Luecke announced on Wednesday, Feb. 9, 2011, that the City of South Bend has reached an agreement to sell land in Ignition Park to a private company that will build a nearly 50,000-square-foot data center – the first private, high-tech business in the technology park.
